Anne White, CPA

Expertise

Anne has worked with QuickBooks since the early 1990s, when she was providing bookkeeping, payroll and tax services with a local CPA firm. In 1996 she received her license as a CPA and has been working in public accounting since that time.

In June, 2000 Anne joined with Katherine DeYoung, CPA, in a partnership. Kathy is the founder of Financial Stewardship Resources, and is a nationally recognized consultant to nonprofit boards and a frequent presenter on topics of a financial nature for nonprofits. Anne learned a great deal about non-profit accounting from Kathy during their partnership. During that time, Anne also honed her QuickBooks skills, applying them to many of the firm’s non-profit clients, as well as to the small business clients.  During this time Anne also started preparing Forms 990 and 990-EZ for non-profits.

In October of 2008 Anne start her own business as a QuickBooks consultant specializing in nonprofits and small businesses.

Community

Anne moved to Corvallis in 1988 with her husband Denis and their two young daughters. In 1994 she was cast in a play at Corvallis Community Theatre, which led to a long and highly enjoyable association with that non-profit organization, both on stage and on the board.

Anne has served on other non-profit boards as well, including the Benton-Linn Chapter of the Oregon Society of CPAs and First Alternative Coop. She is currently treasurer of Financial Stewardship Resources which conducts training for non-profit boards in many aspects of board service.
